Installation "NORTHEASTNORTH (archive)"
/ Marija Griniuk /
Peder Skramsgade 2,
1054 København 11.03.2016
The Gallery Q space becomes a total-installation, consisting of a variety of objects, sounds, acts and individuals who are united in proclaiming a unique, and inviting to discovery of, North-Eastern identity. This space is the area for dialogue between fictional and real identities in ether fictional or real time; rooms get their missions, titles and content from archival elements. The viewer proceeds through the Main Entrance, continues along the Wall of Fame, to The Classroom and Cantina. North-East-North (archive) is an invitation to be experiencing the artistic action. North-East-North (archive) comments on the regional positioning of art in significant events and art fairs around the world. It questions the North-Eastern art identity in the context of the global art scene. North-East-North (archive) is an archive of Individuals and Identities. North- East-North (archive) is inviting you to de-learn your stereotypes.
North-East-North (archive) is including you into the Wall of Fame.
